Hope After Child Loss/The Empty Chair Endeavor

A Conversation with Rudy Milton, Dominique Williams' mom

The Empty Chair Endeavor Season 3 Episode 6

Sometimes, life deals such an unexpected, devastating blow that it leaves us crushed, and afraid that we won't be able to get back up because the pain and trauma cut so deeply. For Rudy Milton, it came on July 19, 2015 when she received the unthinkable news that her only son, Dominique, had been murdered on a public beach on Hilton Head Island, S.C. at only 17 years of age. In an increasingly violent culture, too many parents and families are left trying to pick up the shattered pieces of their lives just like Rudy. So, what do we do in the aftermath of such a life altering loss? How do we deal with the pain, the anger, and the guilt that accompany the death of our child?
Listen, as Rudy shares how her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ has sustained and comforted her throughout this, now, eight year journey. I believe you will find encouragement and hope for your journey as Rudy opens her heart and offers a very honest and transparent glimpse into a mom's journey of both grief and healing.
